RHAPSODY OF REALITIES.
The Revelation Of Christ In Us · Tuesday, June 25th ·
Pastor Chris
To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this
mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory
(Colossians 1:27).
Hebrews 1:3 describes the Lord Jesus as the
express image of the Father; the outshining or effulgence of His glory.
He came to reveal the glory of God to us. So, when we preach the Gospel,
there’s a purpose to it: it’s the revelation of Christ in us, that we
might be the express image of His person and the effulgence of His
glory. Spiritual growth, therefore, is determined by the extent to which
Christ is revealed or manifested through you.
The revelation
of Christ in us is much more than an imitation of Christ; it’s
understanding and expressing His character; His life and glory. His
humanity was to bring us salvation, and show us what we could be, and
what we could do. He laid a perfect example for us to follow. He lived
to glorify God, and that ought to be your passion and pursuit in life as
well.
Paul said in Galatians 1:15-16, "But when it pleased
God, who separated me from my mother’s womb, and called me by his grace,
To reveal his Son in me, that I might preach him among the heathen…."
There should be a consciousness in your spirit that you’re called to
reveal Christ to your world. Everywhere you go, and in everything you
do, your goal should be for Christ to be exulted in and through you.
Let Him have the dominion over your spirit, soul, and body. The more He
gains preeminence over your life, the more His divine will and purposes
are fulfilled in and through you.
Confession
My life
is the expression of the glory of God. Christ is exulted in me; His
divinity is manifested through me today, as I live to fulfill His
purpose and do His perfect will! Thank you Lord, for your wisdom,
ability, and power, that are inherent in me, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
