A GOSPEL OF WHOLENESS
For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are
complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.
Colossians 2:9-10
The Gospel of Jesus Christ that's been ministered to us is a Gospel of
wholeness and completeness. Through this Gospel, life and immortality
have been brought to light (2 Timothy 1:10). What kind of life? The life
of righteousness: a balanced life of excellence, where every area of
your life is perfected.
There're people who, for example, are
doing very well in their jobs, but with ailing health. Some others are
excellent in their health and in their jobs, but things aren't going
very well with their families. God doesn't want your life to be that
way; He doesn't want you lacking in any area. Recall what Jesus said to
those He ministered to; "Thy faith hath made thee whole" (Mark 5:34 ,
Mark 10:52 , Luke 17:19 ).
Everyone who has received the
message of salvation ought to experience this completeness in Christ,
where you prosper in all areas: in your spirit, soul, and body. Someone
might be asking, "I know this ought to be my experience, but why isn't
it working for me?"
First, for it to work, you have to apply an
important principle of the Kingdom called "the mirror principle." The
mirror principle of the Word is that you see yourself to be what God
says you are in His Word, and then act accordingly. It simply means
acting the Word. Our theme verse says you're complete in Christ, endorse
it; see yourself as such. Make it your contemplation and constant
confession. Christ's purpose is that you be filled with all the fullness
of God (Ephesians 3:19). Therefore, there's nothing more that needs to
be done in you to make you more divine, for Christ is in you.
2
Peter 1:3 tells us that His divine power has already given us
everything that pertains to life and godliness. There's nothing missing
or lacking in your life. Everything you require for an extraordinary
life of wholeness, where you prosper in all things and in every area of
your life, and reign by grace through righteousness, have been made
available to you in Christ. Walk in this light.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the life of Christ in me. I accept and
affirm the truth of who I am in Christ, in whom I have my wholeness and
who also, has been made unto me, righteousness, wisdom, and
sanctification. My whole life is an epitome of excellence and God's
beauty, in the Name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.
