MORTIFY THE TRANSACTIONS OF THE BODY By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

MORTIFY THE TRANSACTIONS OF THE BODY

Friday, July 10th

Pastor Chris

For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live” (Romans 8:13).

There’s a depth to the scripture above that you must understand. When the Apostle Paul speaks of “the deeds of the body,” he’s not merely referring to actions or habits. He’s dealing with something deeper, which is the transactions of the body; the dealings of the body.

The body has its operations. It carries out its activities through the senses—what you feel, what you see, what you experience physically. Through these, it conducts its “business,” bringing reports and conditions into your life. At times, the body “brings” something home; it may be a symptom, a weakness, or a discomfort, something it picked up through natural processes.

But you must understand that you’re not subject to those transactions. You’re not to be regulated by the rudiments of this earthly realm but to live above them. The Bible says, “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace” (Romans 8:6). To be carnally minded is to live according to the dictates and reports of the body, to respond to what it says and what it feels. But that’s not your life.

You’re called to live by the Spirit. The Word says if through the Spirit, you mortify the deeds of the body, you shall live. That means through the Holy Spirit, you can paralyse those transactions. You can nullify the operations of the body. You can bring its activities under subjection. You don’t let the body dictate your condition or define your reality.

The life in you is greater. It’s the life of God. And that life gives you authority over the body. The Scripture says, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you… shall also quicken your mortal bodies…” (Romans 8:11). He gives life to your physical body. He overrides its limitations.

So, when the body brings its report, you answer by the Spirit. When it suggests weakness, you respond with strength. When it presents a condition, you enforce the higher law of the Spirit, the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus, by which you’re governed. Hallelujah! So, take charge and exercise dominion over your body. Keep it in health with the Word of God and the power of the Holy Spirit.

                 PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the authority I have through the Holy Spirit over my body. I refuse to be governed by the senses; rather, I choose to walk in life, strength and dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Romans 8:6-10 KJV
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. [7] Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. [8] So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. [9] But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. [10] And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness.

Galatians 5:16 KJV This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

1 Corinthians 9:27 NKJV
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified.

A NEW CLASS OF MEN WITH A DISTINCT LIFE By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

A NEW CLASS OF MEN WITH A DISTINCT LIFE

Thursday, July 9th

Pastor Chris

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son (1 John 5:11).

2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” You’re a new man in Christ, with the resurrection life: “Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life” (Romans 6:4).

We’re a new class of men, a new species. This is what you must understand about our life in Christ. The life we have is from God and not from man. The Apostle John was deliberate with his language. He didn’t say, “Life is in His Son”; rather, he said, “This life is in his Son.” He’s talking about a specific life, the very life of God.

In 1 John 1:2, he calls it “…that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us.” This life is different from all others. It’s what makes us divine. It’s what makes us gods: “I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High” (Psalm 82:6). The Bible says as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17).

Even the angel in the Book of Acts understood the peculiarity and taxonomic difference of our life in Christ when he said to the apostles in Acts 5:20, “Go, stand and speak in the temple to the people all the words of this life.” This life is distinct, divine and superior. That’s what you received when you were born again.

Being born again is not about joining a church; it’s about receiving eternal life—the life and nature of God. It means God is your Father. It means you’ve been brought into a new order of existence. Paul captures it this way: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me…” (Galatians 2:20). The concluding portion says, “…the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God….” This is the distinct, divine life of the new man in Christ.

                 PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your divine life in me. I’m conscious that I’m a new kind of man, born of your Spirit and filled with your glory. I walk in righteousness and live by your Spirit; I express your divine nature, revealing Christ to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

THE FELLOWSHIP THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

THE FELLOWSHIP THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING

Wednesday, July 8th,2026

Pastor Chris

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen (2 Corinthians 13:14).

Our opening scripture above is a powerful benediction. It reveals a divine order: the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. The grace comes from the Lord Jesus. The love is from the Father. But the enjoyment, the living experience of all that God has made available to you, comes through your fellowship with the Holy Spirit.

You may talk about grace and celebrate the love of God. But it’s through the Holy Spirit that these become living realities in your life. He’s the One who brings them into your daily experience and makes them tangible. When you come to know the Holy Spirit, everything changes. There’s a beauty that comes into your life. There’s a colour, a glory, a richness in your walk in righteousness. He empowers you from within.

This Holy Spirit is in you and with you always and forever, not for a season. The Lord Jesus said, “And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever” (John 14:16). He’s your teacher. The Bible says, “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost… he shall teach you all things…” (John 14:26). He opens your understanding to the Scriptures that you may know and walk in the calling and blessings of God for your life.

1 Corinthians 2:12 says, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” He anoints your understanding and grants you insight into divine truths and mysteries of the Kingdom. Through Him, your life takes on a higher dimension. You see beyond the natural, you function with clarity, purpose and certainty.

When you know the Holy Spirit, life becomes limitless. You carry an inward assurance of success, not based on circumstances, but on the One who lives in you. Keep building your fellowship with the Spirit. Walk with Him. Talk with Him. Let Him guide you every day and in all things, and you’ll always walk in glory.

                 PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the gift of the Holy Spirit and the privilege of fellowship with Him. I walk in conscious communion with Him every day, and my life is beautified, guided and empowered by His presence. I live above limitations, expressing your glory in all that I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DON’T BEG GOD IN PRAYER By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DON’T BEG GOD IN PRAYER

Tuesday, July 7th, 2026

Pastor Chris

For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father (Romans 8:15).

Your understanding and opinion of God, your relationship with Him, will certainly define how you pray. When your understanding is right, your prayer life will be filled with confidence, boldness and assurance. But when it’s skewed, prayer can become a struggle, filled with uncertainty, pleading and a sense of inadequacy.

Never approach God as though you’re a stranger trying to gain His attention. He’s your Father. What kind of children does a father delight in? Not the ones who come crying and pleading for everything as though they have no place in the home. Relate to God as your gracious, loving and caring heavenly Father who seeks your best more than you could ever imagine or desire for yourself.

That’s the truth. He loves you more than you love yourself. Therefore, understand your place in Him and with Him. He said in Hebrews 4:16, “Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.” What an invitation! He wants you to always approach Him with confidence, knowing that He delights in you.

The Bible says the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and His ears are open to their prayer (Psalm 34:15). He delights in you to do you good. He daily loads you with benefits (Psalm 68:19). Hallelujah! In Christ Jesus, you have direct access to the Father. You have unhindered, unlimited access; use it: “In whom we have boldness and access with confidence by the faith of him” (Ephesians 3:12).

Read our opening scripture again; the slavish mentality has been taken away. Instead, you’ve been brought into sonship. When you beg, you’re not expressing humility but a lack of understanding of who you are. God doesn’t respond to that mentality. What He recognises is the consciousness of sonship, the confidence that comes from knowing Him as your Father and functioning from that perspective. Praise God.

                 PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the Spirit of adoption in me by which I relate to you as my Father. I live with boldness and confidence, knowing that I belong to you and that all things are mine in Christ. I walk in the consciousness of my oneness with you, and in the fullness of my inheritance in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Galatians 4:6-7 KJV And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. [7] Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

Hebrews 4:16 AMPC
Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God's unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it].

Matthew 6:6-8 KJV
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. [7] But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. 8] Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL

THERE’S SOMETHING ABOUT YOU

Monday, July 6th,2026

Pastor Chris

But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you (Romans 8:11).

Christianity is not a religion; it’s Christ in you (Colossians 1:27). It’s the outworking of the God-life in a human person. The Christian is one who has received and manifests the organic and existential attributes of divinity. That’s what makes you different. You didn’t come into religion when you received Christ. You came into reality.

The Bible says, “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life…” (1 John 5:11-12). This life is the transcendent life. Consider the human body. Even in its present, fallen state, it has the ability to reproduce cells, to repair and restore itself. That is human life, yet that life is corrupted due to the fall of Adam.

If that corrupted life can still function at that level, then think about the life of God in you that’s incorruptible, indestructible and divine! The Bible says, “…being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever” (1 Peter 1:23).

This is what you have now, a life that carries within it the ability to produce and effect changes. The Lord Jesus said, “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…” (Acts 1:8). That power is the dynamic ability to cause changes. It’s at work in you even now; it’s in your system.

It helps you understand when the Scripture says if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He will vitalize your mortal body (Romans 8:11). He gives life to your physical body. 2 Corinthians 4:7-11 tells us something remarkable; it says, “But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us. We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed....”

You’re indestructible. You’re a victor forever. You can never be disadvantaged. You have the ability to produce and reproduce success. You carry that power, the genes of excellence within you. It’s for the same reason that the Bible says whatsoever you do, shall prosper (Psalm 1:3).

You must realise and walk in the consciousness of this reality. There’s something about you: something divine and powerful; something that sets you apart from the ordinary. The Bible says, “...greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world” (1 John 4:4). Let this be the mindset that defines your life every day.

                 PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your life in me, and I’m conscious of its power and work in my spirit, and the ministry of the Holy Ghost in my entire being. The divine life vitalizes my body and produces changes in every area of my life. I walk in dominion, strength and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

10] We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.
11] For we who are alive are always being given over to death for Jesus’ sake, so that his life may also be revealed in our mortal body.

GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE For July 2026 By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE
JULY 5 2026

REV CHRIS OYAKHILOME DSC DSC DD

This first Sunday of the second half of the year is the half year thanksgiving.
Psalm 50:14-15
When the scriptures tell us about thanksgiving, it's not just in words. Thanking is important that way definitely..and the Bible does tell us about using words in praise, in thanking God..but then when he talks about thanksgiving He refers to more than just saying THANK YOU.

V14: The Hebrew word translated THANKSGIVING is the same word "THANK OFFERINGS". (2 chro 29:31)
The word is TODAH.
It is the offering that you bring to God to say THANK YOU.
what you do is give to the Lord a thanksgiving Offering.

Yesterday, 4th July was a special day for America. It was their 250th Anniversary. I congratulate the citizens and the president of the United States, Donald J Trump.
They have been the greatest country in the world for 250 years. That's the country in the world that everybody wants to go into.
It's been successful a journey. And if you were to look into the decades of this period, they've been the most GIVING country in the world. I think that every nation should coy that. Be a GIVING NATION.
USA has been the most formidable entractible bastion of liberty in the world, inspire of its many challenges. (but which country doesn't have challenges? none)
The challenge today is making America Greater than ever.

I would like to say a very special Thank you to the leaders and president of South Africa. Just about a week ago, you may not know what I did for you. What we did was rescue the nation from imminent bloodshed, anarchy and possible dissolution. I saw it in the spirit and I only intervened because God asked me to. I called on the government to respond, do something about it and protect the immigrants. I showed you that such things often spiral into regrettable extremities. That was just the way that Satan was going to come in and manipulate undiscerning citizens for his nefarious activities. The nation would have split into 3 countries. That was planned a long time ago but they've just been unable to do it. Thank God for your victory today but you have to keep it.
As patriotic as David was, He didn't realize that a simple act of calling for a census,  as honorable as that was in itself, Satan was behind it.

1 Chro 21:1(TEB/GNB, TLB)
Satan wanted to bring trouble on the people of Israel. He wasn't just trying to attack David. He invited David to take a decision.
It led to the death of 70,000 men.

Those patriotic citizens who were championing the cause were planning to take laws into their hands.

Not long ago, Nigeria had the END SARS movement. The people had legitimate reasons to be offended.
but what they didn't know was that Satan was moving them to destroy their country
There were churches that were motivating their youths to join the movement. They weren't listening to God. I went into prayer and called our Pastors to pray to cast the demons out of the nation.
After we did. The President addressed the nation. They were not even sure what he said. But after it, there was great calm in the country.

You have since found out about the COVID lies. The globalist elites would like us to assume that the things that transpired were happenstantial instead of concocted. But all of that was a lie.
So I thank God for the SA Government.
The  leaders of the country spoke unambiguously stating that no violence would be tolerated. They sent enough policemen and soldiers to ensure there was peace in the streets. Remarkable!
Congratulations for keeping your people safe.

One of the reasons we keep praying is that the heart of man is deceitful of all things and desperately wicked. The documentary you will watch is a painful reminder of the evil lurking not faraway. who is planning what...
But when you pray the Bible tells you that you shall not be afraid of the terror by night or the arrow that flies by day .

DOCUMENTARY: SCHEMING WITH TERROR.
They say they want to take over 90% of the lands occupied by nations. These Kleptocrats with dark themed lubracious minds. It's only through prayer that we superimpose the power of God upon them. It is Satan that inspires them. They don't understand what they are doing. During the COVID debacle I told you that what they were saying about the Protocols was science. Professors of science believed them. Only a few months ago, Same Fauci when he was questioned on the scientific origins of his protocols, said he just thought it up. The world was deceived.
It's not every fire that's a natural kind of fire.
They want to use fire and rain.

Pray for your country, city and other countries and cities.

MESSAGE OF THE MONTH
Romans 14:17-19 kJV NIV
Make every effort to do what leads to peace.
More than any other title in the New testament, Our God is called a God of Peace. He gave us peace and he wants us to transfer it to our world. God wants peace in our nations and we decree it in the name of Jesus.

This month is a month of Joy.
Make sure that you are enjoying the righteousness and peace of God everywhere.
How God wants us to do it with continual feasting. Make sure there is celebration in different groups. It's not too much.
We do have fasting and prayer inside. July 14-15. Because we are watching and praying while we feast. Don't outsource the cooking

KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR TRUE NATURE

Sunday, July 5th,2026

Pastor Chris

These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life… (1 John 5:13).

God wants you to know who you are. Not to guess, not to assume, but to know. The Apostle John, writing by the Spirit, says, “These things have I written unto you…that ye may know that ye have eternal life.” This is about your identity—what you have and who you are in Christ—NOW. You’re divine because you have eternal life, the divine life.

Consider the Apostle John, who wrote what we read in our theme scripture. During the time of the Great Persecution, after John had been arrested, they put him in a large boiling pot to fry him alive. They were determined to destroy him. But when the fire had burnt out and consumed itself, John stood up. They couldn’t kill him because there was something about him.

That’s how the expression came about, “St. John the Divine.” They couldn’t explain him. They said, “This is not an ordinary man.” So they banished him to the island of Patmos and left him there. Now think about it: was John the only one who was divine? No. What made him divine was the life he had, the eternal life of God in him, and the consciousness of that life.

That same life is what you’ve received in Christ. The Bible says you’re a partaker of the divine nature (2 Peter 1:4). That means you’re not an ordinary person. You’re not merely human. You’re a God-being because you have the life of God in your spirit. But this must dawn on you; otherwise, you’ll think, talk, and respond from a natural standpoint. Yet that’s not your true identity.

When the Bible says, “…that ye may know that ye have eternal life...” (1 John 5:13), it means God wants you to know and function by that revelation. He wants it in your present-hour consciousness. He wants you to be fully aware that the life in you is divine. He knows that when this becomes real to you, your responses will reflect your nature and your expectations will rise to match the life in you. Hallelujah
!

               CONFESSION
I’m a partaker of the divine nature, and I live in the full consciousness of the God-life in me. I walk in dominion, boldness and victory, manifesting Christ in all that I do, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART By Pastor Chris Oyakhilome DSc DSc DD

CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART

📖But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God (Romans 2:29).

God’s definition of your identity isn’t based on outward signs or experiences but on inward realities, the transformation that has taken place in your spirit. The Bible makes it clear: true circumcision isn’t in the flesh; it’s of the heart, in the spirit. This is the mark of the new covenant—an inward transformation that defines who you are before God.

The challenge for many isn’t the absence of this reality but the absence of its consciousness. You may have something, but if you’re not conscious of it, you may never experience or live in its power. Consider David: he knew he was in covenant with God. That consciousness produced uncommon boldness in him to confront and defeat Goliath.

But Saul, who was king at the time and was head and shoulders above everyone else in Israel, had the same covenant but he lacked the consciousness, and therefore, he recoiled in fear against Goliath. The difference wasn’t in what they possessed; it was in what had dawned on their hearts.

That’s the call to you today. You’ve been circumcised in the heart. This isn’t symbolic; it’s a spiritual reality. It’s the token of your oneness with Christ. It’s the seal that you’re the heir of the Abrahamic blessings: “And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise” (Galatians 3:29).

This has to dawn on your spirit and be the only perspective from which you reason and view life. Be ever conscious that you carry within you the life of God, the incorruptible, invincible life of divinity. If this isn’t real to you, you may live beneath your privileges; limited in experience, though unlimited in potential. You may be religious, yet ineffective.

But the moment this truth grips your spirit, everything changes: Your thinking aligns with your identity. Your words carry authority. Your life produces results. There’s no seemingly hopeless situation that you can’t change. That’s your heritage as one who’s circumcised in the spirit.

            🙏PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the reality of my new life in Christ. I’m circumcised in the heart, in the spirit, and I live in the full consciousness of this truth. Your life in me is active, and I walk in dominion, growing in grace and in the knowledge of your truth steadily, in Jesus’ Name.

BUILD YOURSELF IN CHRIST

Friday, July 3rd, 2026

Pastor Chris

And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified (Acts 20:32).

In our last study, we touched on something very important: You’ve received Christ, yes; but you must continue in Him and be built up in Him. He said in John 8:31, “…If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed.” Spiritual growth is intentional. It doesn’t happen by chance; the responsibility is yours to allow the Word of God to dwell in you richly (Colossians 3:16).

No one can grow for you. No one can build your spirit for you. Your progress in Christ is directly tied to your personal commitment to the Word. You may say, “I’ve read through the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation”; but reading isn’t enough. Remember the words of the Lord Jesus for us to search the Scriptures; Paul said to study. There’s a difference. Reading informs you, but searching unveils truth, and studying establishes it within you.

Until you move beyond casual reading, you won’t walk in the depth, authority and power of the Word. There’s more in God, so much more. As you give yourself to study, meditation, and the ministry of the Spirit, deeper revelations are unveiled to you. Your convictions become firm, your discernment refined, and your walk with God steady, consistent, and built on truth.

Remember, we win by His Word. You’re sustained by the Word of His grace, which is able to build you up and unveil your inheritance to you. That Word must dwell richly in you, shaping your thoughts, your responses, and your direction. So, don’t be passive about your spiritual growth. 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby.”

The strength and stability of your Christian life are determined by the depth of the Word in your spirit. You’ve received Christ, that’s powerful; now build yourself in Him. Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Be established in truth.

                 PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for the Word of your grace that builds me up and establishes me in Christ. I’m strengthened, rooted and grounded in the truth of your Word. My life is structured by your Word, and I walk in ever-increasing grace and glory as the revelation of your Word floods my spirit and strengthens my faith, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

DON'T LOSE YOUR SALVATION

DON'T LOSE YOUR SALVATION

Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall (1 Corinthians 10:12)

Nothing in this world compares to the value of your salvation. Not your accomplishments, not your visions, not your impact; nothing. Your salvation is the very reason for your existence; without it, everything else amounts to nothing. Your main purpose on earth is to secure your salvation and help others find theirs. Once you understand this, you'll live a fulfilled life.

There're those who laboured diligently, gave generously, and served fervently, yet lost their salvation because they strayed from the path. You can be engaged, committed, and even celebrated, yet miss the essence. Never let that happen. Your salvation is your most priceless possession; don't treat it lightly.

Refuse to be drawn away. Some have allowed others to guide them off course, becoming entangled in conflicts they had no business with; defending positions that corrupted their focus and weakened their walk with God. That''s not your path. Stay with the truth. Continue in Christ and guard your heart. The Bible says, "As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving" (Colossians 2:6-7).

Your walk with God is personal. When God called Abraham, He called him alone. In the same way, your accountability to the Lord is a personal one. These are the last days; therefore, don't let anyone lead you astray, and don't lead yourself astray either. Be discerning and remain established in the Word. Receiving Christ is the beginning, not the end. Build yourself up in Him. Give yourself to deep and intense study of the Word.

The Lord Jesus said, Search the Scriptures "(John 5:39). Paul said, "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15). As you give yourself to the Word, the Spirit of God unveils deeper truths to you, strengthens your convictions, and keeps you grounded in the truth.

            PRAYER

Dear Father, I thank you for the priceless gift of salvation that I've received in Christ. I remain steadfast, vigilant and rooted in your Word, refusing to be swayed or led astray by any influence contrary to your truth. I'm built up in Christ, I'm growing in grace and in the knowledge of your Word. Thank you for the grace to lead others into this same glorious life, in Jesus'Name. Amen.

TRAIN THEM IN THE WAY THEY SHOULD GO

TRAIN THEM IN THE WAY THEY SHOULD GO

Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).

There’s a clear instruction from the Word concerning the upbringing of children, and it’s not subject to personal opinion or modern cultural trends. The Bible says, “Train up a child in the way he should go,” not in the way he chooses, not in the way society suggests, and not even in the way you merely prefer, but in the way he should go. That way is defined by God’s Word.

Some today have adopted a flawed mindset in raising their children, saying, “In our home, everyone is free to decide what they want to believe or how they want to serve God.” That’s not a Christian home. Christianity is not a democracy of beliefs. When you choose to raise a Christian home, there’s a standard and that standard is the Word of God.

The Bible speaks of those who “...did not like to retain God in their knowledge...” (Romans 1:28). That condition doesn’t start suddenly in adulthood; it’s often the result of a lack of proper training and structure in the formative years. When children are not guided on the right way to serve God, they grow up without the consciousness of God and that absence can lead to grave spiritual consequences.

You don’t negotiate spiritual discipline with a child because the Bible says foolishness is bound in the heart of a child, but discipline helps to get rid of it: “Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him” (Proverbs 22:15). As a Christian parent, don’t entertain the idea of your child deciding not to go to church. Don’t raise children to follow their impulses; raise them to walk in truth.

When you insist on God’s way, consistently, firmly and with love, you’re not being harsh; you’re being obedient to divine instruction. And the result is guaranteed: when they’re old, they won’t depart from it. That training becomes a spiritual compass within them, guiding their choices and preserving their lives.

You’re not called to raise children who merely grow; you’re called to raise children who know God, walk in His ways, and live according to His truth. That responsibility is divine and must be taken seriously.

PRAYER / CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for your grace and wisdom at work in my life. I walk in the light of your Word, applying your truth with consistency, love and firmness. My home is established on your Word, and those under my care are nurtured in righteousness, growing with the consciousness of your presence, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
