EXPRESS HIS LOVE *PASTOR ANITA* TUESDAY, MARCH 18TH, 2014
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life (John 3:16).
If you’re born again, then the love of Christ is in your heart by the Holy Spirit. Since God has put His love in your heart, He now expects you to share that love with those around you. He wants the world to see and appreciate the matchless beauty of His love through you. Therefore, you should take every opportunity in your daily encounter with people to express God’s love to them.
Love for people is what really counts with God. God is love, and we’re to love like Him: “Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children; And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour” (Ephesians 5:1-2). Hatred for anyone, irrespective of what they may have done against you is unacceptable to God. Jesus showed us the excellent example by loving everyone He met. He loved even His accusers; those who put Him on the cross. We ought to emulate the Master by loving everyone, no matter the circumstances.
Love is self-giving; it makes you think of others and accept them just as they are. Love is unselfish and doesn’t seek its own; it breaks the barriers of race, ethnicity, and social status. Take some time to express the love of Christ to someone today.
PRAYER
Dear Father, I thank you for your love that fills my life to overflowing, having been shed abroad in my heart by the Holy Spirit. That love radiates through me today, and I manifest it to everyone in my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Romans 13:8
Living Bible (TLB)
8 Pay all your debts except the debt of love for others—never finish paying that! For if you love them, you will be obeying all of God’s laws, fulfilling all his requirements.
Galatians 5:19-21
Living Bible (TLB)
19 But when you follow your own wrong inclinations, your lives will produce these evil results: impure thoughts, eagerness for lustful pleasure, 20 idolatry, spiritism (that is, encouraging the activity of demons), hatred and fighting, jealousy and anger, constant effort to get the best for yourself, complaints and criticisms, the feeling that everyone else is wrong except those in your own little group—and there will be wrong doctrine, 21 envy, murder, drunkenness, wild parties, and all that sort of thing. Let me tell you again, as I have before, that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the Kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:1-2
Living Bible (TLB)
5 Follow God’s example in everything you do just as a much loved child imitates his father. 2 Be full of love for others, following the example of Christ who loved you and gave himself to God as a sacrifice to take away your sins. And God was pleased, for Christ’s love for you was like sweet perfume to him.
