DIVINE NETWORKING *PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* MONDAY, MARCH 10TH, 2014
Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee (1 Kings 17:9).
In Exodus 1-2, the Bible tells us how Pharaoh issued an edict for all male children from two years and below among the Hebrews to be killed. Moses was born to his Hebrew parents during this period, and his mother hid him for three months. When she could no longer hide him, she placed him in a basket, which she left at the edge of the river. Soon enough, Pharaoh’s daughter came to have a bath at the same river and noticed a basket in the tall grass. She sent a servant to get it, and when she opened the basket, she saw the baby, and instantly fell in love with him. She chose to take care of him and ordered her servants to get one of the Hebrew women to help nurse the baby. The woman they found was Moses’ very own mother, and she was paid a salary to take care of her own baby.
This didn’t happen by chance; God orchestrated everything. He knows who to place right where you’re going. He said, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last" (Revelation 22:13). This means in your life, there shouldn’t be unpleasant surprises; He’s the first and the last, and He’s organized everything from start to finish. Make a choice to go only in the direction He’s already charted for you. Some people go in the direction they created for themselves, and this is dangerous. In that path, there’s a lot of trouble, struggling and hardship. In God’s path, however, there’s no darkness. Everything is already prearranged according to the timing of His Spirit to be right there at the time you require it.
Instead of praying, "O Lord, network and connect me to the right people," speak in tongues. The more you speak in tongues, the more He links you with the materials, circumstances, people, and the funding that align with His call for your life. As you speak in tongues, you won’t find yourself "labouring" to connect with people; there’ll be response from the realm of the spirit. God knows everybody and He knows everything. He knows what you need and He can get it all across to you. He’s big enough to do that.
PRAYER
Dear Father, thank you for the Holy Spirit, who always helps me with the right connections I need to put me over in life. I declare that I am divinely connected with all resources—human, material, financial—that are consistent with my destiny in Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
