RHAPSODY OF REALITIES.
The Communion Of The Holy Spirit.
Pastor
Chris
The
grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and communion of the Holy
Ghost, be with you all. Amen(2 Corinthian13:14)
This
verse lets us know what we can enjoy from Jesus (the grace of Jesus Christ),and
what we can enjoy from the Holy Spirit (the communion of the Holy Spirit). God
the Father already proved His love in sending Jesus Christ to die that we may
live. The grace of Jesus Christ, on the other hand, has been poured out on us
through His death for us. We now enjoy that grace in its fullness (John
1:16-17); there couldn’t be anything better than what He (His grace) already
accomplished for us on the cross of Calvary.
However,
there’s something that continues: “the communion of the Holy Spirit.” This
refers to the partnership, communication, or fellowship with the Holy Spirit.
It includes talking with the Holy Spirit; yielding to His Lordship and
guidance; sharing our thoughts with Him, and receiving His thoughts through
the Word.
The
kind of relationship we’re to cultivate with the Holy Spirit is one of the
communion; a sharing together. The Father and the Son are in heaven, but the
Holy Spirit lives in us, fostering this extraordinary communion with divinity.
He’s the one that makes the presence of the Father and the presence of Jesus real
to you such that wherever you are, you experience the divine presence. God
doesn’t “go” from you, or “come” to you; you’re in Him and He’s in you, by the
Holy Spirit.
Develop
an intimate relationship with HIM by communing with Him constantly in prayer, and
through meditation on the word. Consult with Him for answers and direction
always. When you face challenges that seem insurmountable commune with Him, and
He’ll show you what to do. No one but He can give you perfect counsel and
guidance in life
Confession
I
know that I’ll never walk in darkness, confusion or uncertainty because I’m in
fellowship with the Holy Spirit; He’s my light, and the one who teaches me in
the way that I should go, guiding me in the path of God’s perfect will! Amen.
